Well it has been brought to my attention that I haven't blogged in over a month... So that needs to change. Nothing has happened except that...

I got a job for after graduation!!

I know super exciting. I will be working at Michelle Leo Events and will assist in the planning of weddings every weekend. I am super excited to be doing something I love and have always wanted to do. I am also SO excited to leave Rexburg! it has been a long time coming. This town is awful and sucks all the life out of me! But i will finally escape and I definitely don't plan on going back!

Fall 2013 semester

This has been a great semester! I love my friends and am so excited to make so many more memories with them! If winter semester is anything like fall semester then I know it is going to be amazing!

Washington Coast

After living in Washington for 13 years it was finally time to take a trip to the coast! Although weeks could be spent out there relaxing we took a day trip all the way up the coast and just explored beaches all the way till we got back at home. We left at 5:30 am and pulled back into the drive way about 14 hours later at 7:30 pm! It was so much driving yet it was so much fun.

The first stop we took was Ocean Shores. That is basically down in Oregon about three hours away from the house. We had breakfast there at a fancy restaurant known as McDonalds. I mean when on a road trip it is required to eat at least one meal there... well at least in my family. It was a little cold but still so much fun! I definitely slept the whole way there and woke up in time to pull onto the beach. Yes we drove on the beach!

Next we drove a couple more hours to a small lake resort the Theodore Roosevelt used to stay in. It was beautiful and is also home to the World's largest spruce tree. It doesn't seem so big in the picture but I was tiny standing next to it! We also stopped at a rainforest where the trees were covered in spanish moss and the ponds were beautiful! I wish I could of captured better the beauty of this place but pictures just don't show it. You will just have to take my word that its breathtaking.

The beaches we stopped out kept getting more and more beautiful! my favorite beach was Ruby Beach. We couldn't explore it too much because it was high tide but the beach is covered in flat rocks that you can stack into towers. There are towers stacked on all the drift wood and they were so cute! I recommend that everyone take this drive. It doesn't have to be completed in just one day like we did. There are plenty of places to stop along the way. We ended the day in Forks. You can't drive the coast without stopping by Forks. It was a lot different then I thought it would be. I found out that nothing was actually filmed in the actual town... So I don't get why its such a big deal.
The Seattle skyline at the end was so great! We took the ferry in and just looking at the city at night with all the lights reminded me on why I love this town so much!

St. George

This past week has been Thanksgiving break and it was so relaxing. I spent it in St. George with my family and my days were filled with diet coke and relaxation. I may or may not have had 9 32 oz diet cokes. It was a little overboard but each sip was delicious. Being with my family just made me realize how much I love them and how grateful I am that I was born into this family. I have been blessed with a dad that helps me with everything. He fixes all my problems or at least tries to fix them. My mom is always there when I call and listens to my complaints and talks me through my problems. My siblings are not just family but they are my friends. They are so much fun to spend time with and I wouldn't change anything from my family.

Every body needs a relaxing week like the one I had. We had a craft day and a spa day. We went black friday shopping. Watched tons of movies. Enjoyed delicious food and amazing company. Thanksgiving dinner was delicious and the conversation was hilarious. I only wished I had taken more pictures. I always forget to take pictures when I do things and I always regret it afterwards.

I am looking forward to going home in three weeks for christmas break!

Lets give Thanks

Since it is November I thought I should share what I am grateful for. There are just so many things that I could write right now. My family has a group chat going and every day we all have to send something that we are grateful for. Of course some of them are silly and others are serious but it has struck me that there are just so many things to be grateful for. these are just some of the things I am grateful for today

according to Jay

I had the most interesting conversation with amazing Hanna Murray
and the one and only Jeremiah Paventy!
I am not sure how this particular conversation started by Jay started
to share with us his philosophies for dating.
I felt that I shouldn't be the only one that was blessed to here these insights!
I hope you enjoy as much as I did.

Dating according to Jay:

"A. Never go after someone you've already decided you don't like.
B. If you're deciding between 2 people
and you pick person 1 or person 2. Never go after the other option."

This may not seem like very unique advice but it was very funny the way he
explained it! He also provided us with a nice analogy
on dating but we swore we would never speak of it! Plus I could never explain it as well as he did.
Fight Club status
